Is Santa Claus a Rocker?, assmusical and solidarity ociation of EDHEC students, invites you to participate in the 4 live evenings from the Perno Festival ! This year, the edition will be 100% digital and will take place from December 10 to 13.
Usually, the Perno Festival takes place every year at the end of November in the Lille concert halls. The objective? A new toy purchased allows you to obtain a ticket to one of the festival’s concerts. Each toy is offered before the holiday period to children from social centers in Lille and Roubaix. This year, due to the health crisis, the association must reinvent itself in order to offer a different form for its festival, while maintaining its main mission: redistributing gifts to more than 1,500 children.
Mixing music and culture, this doubly supportive project, which helps make children happy at Christmas (#UnCadeauPourUnSourire), returns this year for its 26the 100% online and 100% free edition.
The program of the 26e edition of the Perno Festival
During previous editions, the Festival invited artists like Lomepal, Roméo Elvis, L’Impératrice, and even Taïro last year to perform on stage.
On the festival program this year:
- The Perno Studio. Every evening, you will find a 20-minute live filmed by an artist in a studio. You will be able to discover or rediscover the talented Poupie (finalist of the show The Voice) and Suzane (winner of the stage revelation at the 2020 victories of music), as well as Biga*Ranx or even Captaine Roshi…
- The Perno Tête-à-tête: 10 minutes of interview with one of the Perno Studio artists. We will come back to his career, his work, his influences, his news.
- Les Petits Concerts du Perno: Videos of artists (professionals and amateurs) playing music from home despite confinement. This format will aim to send a strong message of solidarity in the music world, by Internet users and for Internet users.
- Le Rendez-vous du Perno: In this format, we give the floor to a guest from the cultural or social world to question them on the different issues that arise for them or their environment during the CoVid-19 crisis.
- The Pernomix: A one-hour live DJ set that will highlight electro culture thanks to artists Deborah loves La Bagarre and Herr Krank.
What is Perno?
Perno is an equation: an online donation = a gift given = a happy child. It is also a project that links music and solidarity. But this year, is Santa’s project a Rocker? is also proof that despite all the blows that the world of culture has taken during this health crisis, its creativity still allows it to bounce back and face constraints by offering new content, but which always has the objective of redistributing gifts to the 1,500 children in our 22 partner social centers.
For this you can, if you wish, make a free donation to the Perno, from December 7 to 25. The money raised will be used to finance the gifts. You are also and above all invited to register for the event on Facebook The Perno Festival – 26th edition and invite your acquaintances to attend these musical lives of very diverse styles for free, from December 10 to 13!
