Our Mission

At ICFTU, our mission is to strengthen and connect workers’ movements across the globe. Since our founding, we’ve been committed to promoting fair labor practices, protecting fundamental rights, and providing direct support to unions and activists in the field. We believe that decent work is a right for all — regardless of geography, industry, or status.

Our Story

ICFTU was founded in 2010 by Nicolas & Harry, a labor rights advocate with a vision for transnational solidarity. After witnessing the fragmented struggles of local unions against global corporations, Louize launched ICFTU to create a unified, agile support system for grassroots labor organizations. With a committed team and a worker-first approach, ICFTU has grown into a recognized force for fair work, supporting over 2,500 union networks across 15 countries.
