How to properly prepare for your job interview?
Stephen A. Schwarzamn’s first tip is to be on time. While this may seem obvious to many, it is not obvious to everyone. As the founder of Blackstone explains, “ Punctuality is the number one indicator of interview readiness. »
The second tip for succeeding in a job interview is to be yourself. Stephen A. Schwarzamn describes recruitment as a speed-dating during which it is necessary to be natural. “ If you put yourself out there and get the job, that’s great! If this is not the case, then the company was not right for you. »
Stephen A. Schwarzamn’s third tip is to prepare. This will already include arriving on time, but you also need to know the company you are applying for. This will allow you to highlight the salient elements of the organization and the reasons why you want to join it.
Be candid. This is the fourth tip to ensure you succeed in your job interview. This means not focusing on appearances, but really opening up to your recruiter.
The fifth tip is to be confident. This confidence will demonstrate your ability to know how to manage the position you want, but also to manage teams.
It’s important to be curious. This is Stephen A. Schwarzamn’s sixth tip for a successful interview. “ Ask questions, ask for advice, ask your recruiter what they like most about their company », Indicates the founder of Blackstone. He recommends making the interview interactive.
Do not discuss your political positions. Here again, this may be obvious, but some do not hesitate to clearly display their political colors. Stephen A. Schwarzamn points out that the only time you should talk about it during your recruitment is when you are invited to do so.
Finally, the last advice from the founder of Blackstone is to not hesitate to mention people you may know in the company, only if you like and respect them.
