The fate of the show “Who will be my partner?” » had been pending for several months. The first season was not a great success, since it never reached 2 million viewers, nor 20% market share on M6. Despite this failure, the show was renewed for a second season and the call for applications has just been launched!
“Who wants to be my partner?” »: The call for applications for startups launched
The show aims to support young startups in their quest for entrepreneurship. Project leaders must present their concept to a jury of six major emblematic figures from the business world. The goal is to convince them to invest in their startup and thus find a partner who will guarantee the success of their business. The latter will provide part of the capital against a percentage of the company to the winners. The winners will therefore be able to benefit from advice and financing from six experts, themselves creators of successful businesses in France.
The members of the jury will have the freedom to follow the project that they like the most. The only rule to respect is that, if the percentage of the company obtained can be negotiated, the amount invested cannot be less than that initially requested by the project leader.
The show also aims to democratize entrepreneurship and promote its image among the French, while encouraging entrepreneurs, who hide behind their screens, to get started in their turn.
The image of entrepreneurship has greatly evolved in the eyes of the French thanks to the show. According to a study carried out by YouGov for Maddyness54% of respondents admit “have a positive image of entrepreneurship, compared to 6% a negative image (and 33% neither positive nor negative). »
Today, M6 has opened applications and is looking for the startup that will attract the members of the jury! Do you want to participate? For this, nothing could be simpler! Simply register directly online, on the dedicated platform!
