Created in 2019 in Grenoble by Raphaël Masbou, Benoit Prigent and Jérémy Masbou, Lokki is the SaaS solution dedicated to professional sports equipment rental companies (bicycle, ski, water sports rental companies) who wish to create and develop their rental business. Lokki contributes to the sustainability and development of local, accessible and low-carbon leisure by offering an uncompromising online experience for consumers and rental companies (reservation, stock management, payment, deposit, contract, etc.). Lokki’s fundraiser?
Why did you raise 4 million euros?
With this funding round, Lokki is pursuing its objective of democratizing a more responsible mode of consumption by helping all types of points of sale to develop a rental activity. The startup specializing in the rental of outdoor equipment wishes to democratize rental in the daily lives of French people by tackling all leisure sectors: sport, DIY and events. Lokki will double its teams by the end of 2023 to become the rental reflex in France and Europe.
Why did you choose to bring these investors into your capital?
Lokki chose to bring Serena, Seed4Soft, Super Capital, Wind Capital, Machame, Kerala Ventures into its capital.
We chose the Racine² fund operated by Serena and Makesense to have both the SaaS expertise linked to the quality of its Operating team and the Impact expertise of Makesense which supports us on our mission-driven company transformation issues.
What will Lokki look like in 5 years?
In 5 years, Lokki will be the platform on which every European will rent their leisure equipment (sport, DIY, gardening, audiovisual and events).
