The French startup, Lily Facilite La Vie, which offers the first assistance program for French employees, recently completed a fundraising of 3 million euros. We spoke with Magaly Siméon, co-founder of this startup, to learn more about her future goals.

Who are you ?

I am a young entrepreneur who launched after 25 years as a manager in the world of large companies. My business Lily makes life easier aims to lighten the mental burden of employees and support them in their daily worries.

I managed to reconcile my career and my 3 children. I admit, it was a struggle, and I received very little help. I want to help change the situation, to ensure that having fun at work and being a parent are two things that are perfectly compatible. This is why I created Lily. So that it becomes normal and easy to reconcile.

What does Lily Facilitate Life do?

Lily makes life easier is the first assistance program for French employees. Our mission? Take care of employees to reduce the impact of personal problems on the functioning of teams.

How ? By giving companies the means to support the challenges of employees’ lives, by helping employees manage their personal problems more quickly, by reducing the burden on managers on this subject and by showing everyone that the company respects their priorities personal.

Concretely, we offer employees:

  • unlimited access by phone, text or email to advisors and support specialists;
  • personalized remote or face-to-face workshops (for managers, a PSR prevention workshop);
  • an exclusive service boutique made up of experts who help to concretely resolve problems;
  • e-learning support programs around life moments;
  • access to a platform with content written or recorded by a pool of experts.

A benefits package completes everything for the employer. It is made up of a team dedicated to the creation of uses to enhance the company’s investment with an implementation in 4 weeks, including taking into account the specific needs of the company and the definition of KPIs to measure the effect of the system and the success of the support.

Four years after our launch in 2018, our solution meets the needs of businesses:

  • 750,000 beneficiaries supported in 2022;
  • €750,000 in revenue generated over the last 18 months;
  • recruitment of 12 people in marketing, offers and sales;
  • a nomination as a startup to invest in 2022;
  • an average rating of 9/10 given by employees after the first use of our solution;
  • an account creation rate above the market average: 30% on average (vs. 3% for Anglo-Saxon EAPs);
  • an average advisor response time of 2 hours.

Why did you raise 3 million euros?

We are very proud of this partnership with Garance which will allow us to make supporting people in their life journey even more tangible, by pushing the personalization of our solutions even further. The funds raised will help make our ambition a reality: improving the mental health of employees through a human, personalized, global and preventive solution.

Concretely, these 3 million euros will be used to further personalize the experience on our platform, strengthen our support throughout France and develop an approach based on moments of life which brings together all the areas of concern.

Why did you choose to bring these investors into your capital?

Lily Facilite La Vie has chosen to include Family Office, Intendance and Eukratos in its capital. Family Offices have a time horizon and entrepreneurial vision that better matches our values ​​and vision. And we have completed this pool of investors with an industrial shareholder whose strategic vision converges with ours.

What will Lily Facilte La Vie look like in 5 years?

In 5 years, Lily will be able to support more than 5 million beneficiaries whenever they face an everyday problem. Our advisors, with a certified training course, will have demonstrated their impact thanks to their psychosocial approach based on listening and providing concrete solutions. Our coaching courses will be used daily to act on limiting and parasitic thoughts that harm well-being.
