This is a first in the history of HETIC, one of the students has officially been elected president of JEE, the European confederation of junior enterprises, otherwise called Junior Enterprises Europe. This is Leo, a 4th year student. But what is JEE? What is at stake for the HETIC school? Business Cool sums it all up for you!
What is JEE?
JEE (Junior Enterprises Europe) is an association whose objective is to bring together junior enterprises from across Europe. These are extremely professional associations allowing you to combine studies and contact with companies. They quite easily give the students who attend them access to the business world.
Who is Leo Largillet, president of JEE?
Leo Largillet has a particularly notable career path: after obtaining an economic and social baccalaureate at the Fénélon Institute in 2019, he turned directly to HETIC, for a 5-year course. He is at the same time educated, still for a 5-year course, at the Japanese Institute in Paris.
In parallel with his studies, he is also a freelancer and accepts a number of missions as a developer and UX Designer. If he continues his momentum, he will graduate at the end of 2024 and will already have a good foothold in the world of work, both for his freelance activity and for his new position within JEE.
If you’re interested, we contacted his predecessor: Meeting with Yanis Gannouni (TBS Education), new president of the CNJE
What consequences for HETIC?
In addition to this nomination, other HETIC students have been selected to be part of the Executive Board of European Junior Enterprises (ExBo), an event organized by JEE and whose purpose is to bring together the best junior entrepreneurs in Europe, to allow them to present both their projects and their business development skills. The event prides itself on highlighting pure innovation and the entrepreneurial dimension which must frame this innovation.
