The missions of Breizh Investors
Breizh Investors is the finance association of Rennes School of Business which seeks to promote the world of finance within our school. In addition to being an attractive field for business school students, finance is also a vast and complex world. This is why we are committed to promoting finance that is more accessible to all,” a finance not only accessible to as many people as possible, but above all a finance which is part of an increasingly sustainable and responsible framework », explains Mohamed, CSR Manager and member of the business development department.
How Breizh Investors works
Our association is made up of 20 close-knit members who all have this common passion for the world of finance. We work through 5 complementary centers in which everyone was able to find their place and spread their knowledge: The commercial development center, the investment center, the conference/course center, the events center and the communication center + a CSR manager.

Members of Breizh Investors explain why they joined this association. “ Having always had an interest in figures and finance, it is natural that I turned to an association in line with my aspirations. It was my curiosity and the desire to learn that allowed me to join this association. As head of the commercial development department, it is with passion and enthusiasm that I represent women who are still poorly represented in the world of finance. », Indicates Cléa Rousselot, Head of business development at Breizh Investors at Rennes School of Business.

Breizh Investors events and activities
Every year, we set up conferences with professionals so that they can present their profession and exchange with students in complete transparency. Furthermore, the course department organizes, at the end of each semester, review sessions on finance and accounting which constitute our main source of associative financing. These courses are accompanied by an introduction to Bloomberg software for all students who wish.
New this year: we have published stock market news to keep our students informed on this subject. In addition, Breizh Investors now ensures that it invests responsibly in the stock market and is committed to respecting a new ethical charter.
Finally, we are continuing events that have been popular with students for several years, such as Bar trading : a tour of bars with which we form partnerships and during which the prices of drinks vary according to supply and demand during the evening.
The association’s future projects
The association wishes to increase its visibility through:
- L’Invest Weeka 2.0 stock market challenge where students from Rennes SB will compete as a team with a fictitious portfolio and will benefit from brief training on the tools and operation of the stock market. This event is planned for the next school year in order to include the future promotion.
- The creation of a website which will bring together our activities and resources.
- The implementation of new events such as personalized training with professionals to increase the chances of success during future internship or job interviews in the financial sector.
Furthermore, highlighting CSR is one of our priorities to ensure increasing student attention to the issue that this represents, as evidenced by the conference that we will soon organize entitled Women in finance.
