Everything you need to know about Tech Forward, the EDHEC, EURECOM & IMT incubator

Several schools have joined forces to launch Tech Forward, the new incubator for committed Tech entrepreneurs. This action is part of the partnership between EDHEC Business School, EURECOM and the Institut Mines-Télécom who wish to support new entrepreneurs in carrying out their projects.

What is Tech Forward?

Tech Forward is a startup incubator located in Sophia-Antipolis. It is a place where businesses can grow with a supportive environment, resources and mentoring. Incubators often offer services such as hosting, training, investor relations, and other benefits to help businesses start and grow.

In the case of Tech Forward, the emphasis is mainly placed on the development of young companies operating in digital security, communication systems or data science. The selected entrepreneurs will be supported in the design of innovative, ambitious technological projects with high added value for society.

The detailed Tech Forward program

Joining the Tech Forward incubator means having the opportunity to benefit from all the advantages of the ecosystem of the three partners, for a period of one year. Entrepreneurs have access to personalized support and will be able to obtain consultations from 300 experts referenced in their fields, whether they come from the outside world or whether they are teacher-researchers and alumni of the three institutions. This program allows all entrepreneurs to maximize their chances of success, as David Gesbert, Managing Director of EURECOM, explains:

With our partners, we are establishing Tech Forward at the heart of an ecosystem which constitutes a fantastic talent pool for start-up projects. By combining EURECOM’s technological expertise in key digital areas, EDHEC’s business and incubation experience, and the strength of the IMT network, Tech Forward offers major assets to future creators. The incubator will be a fantastic tool for developing entrepreneurship and increasing the attractiveness of our region!

A vision also shared by Emmanuel Mallais, General Director of EDHEC Business School:

The launch of Tech Forward in partnership with EURECOM and IMT illustrates our commitment to entrepreneurship with a strong technological dimension in the heart of the territories. At the intersection of business and technology, it will allow us to help innovative project leaders from our three institutions realize their ambition. Thanks to its unique ecosystem, Tech Forward is a fantastic accelerator for scaling up and supporting committed entrepreneurs.
