On March 27 and 28, 2021, the first edition of the 100% virtual e-sport tournament organized by the three gaming associations of EM Normandy will be held: E-OLEMPIADES 2021. Zoom on an event open to all students of the Grandes Écoles of Business and engineers.
The gaming associations of EM Normandy will meet you on March 27 and 28 for an e-sport tournament bringing together students from business and engineering schools. They will have to compete in several games. The prize: a nice check for the winners of these competitions.
Schedule of the first edition of E-OLEMPIADES
On March 27 and 28, eight associations of Grandes Écoles of business and engineering will compete to win the E-OLEMPIADES 2021 grand prize.
The three associations gaming of EM Normandy (Nordik Games, Finish’EM and Toucan Gaming) from the Caen, Le Havre and Paris campuses have been working together since September 2020, to carry out this event where the different associations will challenge each other online in the following five games:
- Brawl Stars
- League of Legends (aram mode)
- Fifa 2021
- Smash (ssbu)
- Clash Royale
The event will take place on Discord and the entire tournament will be broadcast live on Twitch to allow students to support their teams.
An e-sports tournament to promote proximity between students
The current context makes interaction between students complicated. This online competition is an opportunity for students to continue to stay in touch. Live has established itself as one of the major trends of 2021 following confinements.
The 3 associations of EM Normandie have adapted this year’s format to the health crisis. However, this competition e-sports multi-gaming inter-schools, the first initiative of this type, will most likely be renewed for other editions in the coming years.
HAS the outcome of the tournament, the winners of Fifa 2021, Smash Bross Clash Royal and Brawl Stars will win €200. Those from League of Legends will win €500.
