BonjourCyber, the French startup specializing in cybersecurity, recently announced that it had raised one million euros in funding. We spoke with Farid Lahlou, CEO and co-founder of this startup. The latter took the opportunity to enlighten us on his future projects.

Who are you ?
I am Farid Lahlou, CEO and co-founder of BonjourCyber. Above all, I am a lover of Tech, entrepreneurship and pizza. I have spent the last 20 years building Tech companies and projects all over the world.
What BonjourCyber does?
BonjourCyber is a pure player in Cybersecurity services for SME and ETI companies. Basically, we are putting in place the first cyber barriers for businesses. With my two partners: Yann Repérant and Renaud Granier, we have created services that are easy to understand and quick to set up. Our message is that companies must quickly put in place the first cyber barriers in their companies; we do not cancel cyber risk, we reduce it.

Why did you raise one million euros?
This lifting will above all allow us to save time. Our objective is to become a leader in the area of Cyber services to SMEs and ETIs, we will therefore invest this million euros in the recruitment of the best talents: Tech, marketing and sales, but also in the development of our own management tools cyber risk.

Why did you choose to bring business angels into your capital?
By bringing Pascal Teurquetil into the capital of BonjourCyber, it is above all the choice of an experienced man who loves business and entrepreneurs. Beyond the financial part, Pascal shares with us his experience of mid-sized companies, innovation and management of a growing company.
What will BonjourCyber look like in 5 years?
In 5 years, BonjourCyber will be the leader in cyber services for SMEs and ETIs. BonjourCyber will be present in France, but also internationally. Through its awareness-raising actions, BonjourCyber will also be at the heart of professional training for young people in cyber careers. In 5 years, BonjourCyber will continue to be a company in which life is good, in which everyone has their place and can see its future in the long term.
