Represent the students, come together and carry the voice of the 200,000 students of Management Schools? This is exactly what the National Office of Management School Students (BNEM) offers to students of the 34 Grandes Écoles of Management in France. Today, the BNEM is launching a major campaign to allow you to make your voice heard by the biggest institutions.
As the mandate of the 2022-2023 class ends and like every year since its creation in 2020, the BNEM is organizing elections within our schools, a real highlight for the association.
The whole challenge of BNEM lies at the level of its Board of Directors (CA). This assembly is made up of a pair from each Grande École de Management and meets once or twice a month to discuss the problems encountered by the schools’ students.
Raising the needs of management school students: the mission of the BNEM
The themes addressed within the BNEM are rich: financing of studies, social diversity, gender equality, ecological issues, etc. Each of the issues raised by the Board of Directors gives rise to concrete action on the part of the association:
“ Following our investigation into study financing, the BNEM wrote an article which shows the results but also proposes real solutions. This is how we participated in discussions on the reduction of the 800 euro deposit of SIGEM costs », explains Romain Vismara, President of the National Office of Students in Management Schools.
The real strength of the BNEM is its close relationship with administrations and institutions, which allows it to move from an issue raised on a national scale by its Board of Directors to joint action with the major players in the Higher education. The association recently participated in debates on the ecological transition with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The BNEM is the key player capable of changing things!
But all this is not possible without its Board of Directors! And if the idea of joining this national association and making the voices of students at your school heard has convinced you, it’s not too late! Nominations for the elections close on April 7, just fill out this form:
