A graduate of MBS (Montpellier Business School), Anne-Sophie Mounier is participating in the new season of TF1’s flagship show: Koh Lanta: Le Totem Maudit. Focus on his studies, his career and his adventure in the Philippines with Denis Brogniart’s team.

Anne-Sophie: her academic career before Koh Lanta

Anne-Sophie Mounier is originally from Gard, but she has traveled a lot over the years. While growing up in Connaux, in the south of France, she discovered a passion for gymnastics. She then left for Guyana where she completed part of her schooling.

It was in high school that she returned to mainland France. Anne-Sophie leaves for Saône-et-Loire to complete her secondary studies at the Lycée Militaire d’Autun. She then returned to the south of France and joined MBS (at the time Sup de Co Montpellier) and graduated in 2012. She then left for Nice to pursue a master’s degree in law, economics and management.

Anne-Sophie Mounier and her passion for sport

If Anne-Sophie signed up for Koh Lanta, it’s no coincidence. The young woman is passionate about sport. She participated in several French athletics and beach volleyball championships. She even took up horse riding. In this discipline, Anne-Sophie obtained her gallop 7, the highest possible diploma. She is also a fan of skiing.

For several years, this Koh Lanta participant has no longer lived in France. In fact, she is now a sports coach in Greece. She specialized in a particular sport: Kangoo Jump. This discipline consists of carrying out sporting exercises while being equipped with shoes that have a sort of spring. In line with her passion for everything related to the world of sport, she created her own brand of clothing and sports equipment.

This love for everything related to this field is hereditary. Indeed, Anne-Sophie Mounier’s father is also a great sportsman. The latter is none other than Adam Szymanek. He is a Polish wrestling champion, who shined on the national scene, but also internationally, where he was fourth.

Anne-Sophie and Koh Lanta: a great love story

Anne-Sophie Mounier explained to Purepeople that she tried several times to participate in Koh Lanta. In fact, this is the third time that this mother of two children has applied to be a candidate for the show hosted by Denis Brogniart. She even says she has been following adventurers for sixteen years already.

While being alone on an island, without water or food, can frighten many people, Anne-Sophie explains that she is not the type to be easily impressed. She explains to the media: “ I have always loved wandering in nature. I’m not a little kid. Snakes and other critters… Not even afraid! I’ve been watching the show with enthusiasm for almost sixteen years, even! This game represents everything I love: human adventure and competitive spirit. I am a challenger (…) it is a challenge that I wanted to take on. »

Today, Anne-Sophie Mounier stands out as one of the favorites of this season of Koh Lanta. Many viewers support her and see her go far in the adventure. She knew how to make an impression with her courage and strong personality.

Anthony Mounier, her footballer husband

If Anne-Sophie Mounier left France for Greece, it was also out of love. Indeed, she is in a relationship with Anthony Mounier, professional footballer. The latter began his career in 2006, within an iconic club: Olympique Lyonnais. He notably participated in obtaining the title of French Champion in 2008.

In 2009, he left for Nice, then Montpellier, before having his talent recognized outside France. Anthony Mounier has in turn played for Bologna FC, Atalanta de Bergamo and in Greece, a country in which he has distinguished himself since 2017. Since 2020, the footballer has played for GS Kallithéa, a second division club.

Anne-Sophie Mounier recognizes in several interviews that her husband has been a huge support, that he has always been with her during her applications for Koh Lanta and that he was very happy for her with her participation in this new season. which is broadcast every Tuesday on TF1.
